Sodium Bicarbonate Supply from China

Sodium Bicarbonate Supply from China

sodium bicarbonate by bergano chemical

Bergano supplies food, feed, industrial and pharmaceutical sodium bicarbonate for importers, distributors and manufacturers. Our annual sodium bicarbonate exports total approximately 10,000 tonnes across all grades.

Use our sodium bicarbonate grade guide to review the available product routes. For animal-feed procurement, see our current feed-grade sodium bicarbonate offer. Pharmaceutical enquiries require a separate review of the intended use and supporting documents.

Define the product and document requirements

Send the intended application, specification, required quantity and destination. Include particle-size or impurity limits relevant to your purchasing approval. Request the applicable specification, SDS and COA, and identify any product certification required for your market. Products with certification documentation are available; the specific documents are confirmed for the offered material.

Agree the packing and shipment plan

Bag options include 25 kg, 1,250 kg and 1,350 kg, with reference single-product loads of 27, 25 and 27 tonnes respectively in a 20-foot container. Palletised or loose loading and custom packing are available; the final load plan is confirmed for the order.

Industrial-grade sodium bicarbonate bag

For smaller orders, ask about low-MOQ options and multi-product consolidation. The minimum quantity, workable product combination and freight arrangement depend on the quotation. Mixed-product loads are planned for the products and quantities in your order.

Bergano usually dispatches within one week. Confirm the dispatch schedule and allow separately for transport, clearance and final delivery. For repeat supply, share your purchasing forecast and receiving schedule so that shipments can be planned against your requirements.

Compare the quotation on the same basis

Check the quoted currency, validity, product grade, net quantity and packing. Ask for the agreed Incoterm and named place, the freight and destination charges included, and the expected dispatch window. For a mixed-product order, compare each product’s quantity and the complete loading plan alongside the total quotation.

FOB or CIF: compare the transport scope, not just the total

For sodium bicarbonate procurement, keep the grade, net quantity and packing identical before comparing delivery terms. Write the chosen rule, named port or place and edition together: for example, FOB [port of shipment], Incoterms® 2020, or CIF [port of destination], Incoterms® 2020.

  • FOB: the buyer arranges the main sea carriage. The seller delivers the goods on board the nominated vessel at the agreed shipment port and completes export formalities.
  • CIF: the seller arranges and pays for sea carriage and the required insurance to the named destination port. The default insurance cover is limited; agree any additional protection needed.
  • Risk and freight costs are different: under both rules, the normal delivery and risk-transfer point is on board the vessel at the shipment port. A CIF destination does not mean the seller carries the cargo risk until arrival.

For containerized goods handed to a carrier at a terminal before vessel loading, review FCA or CIP against the actual handover and transport plan instead of automatically choosing FOB or CIF. See the ICC Academy guidance on FOB and container handover and CIF and CIP responsibilities.

What to put alongside each sodium bicarbonate quotation

  • Material: grade, purchasing specification and document requirements for the intended use.
  • Quantity and packing: net tonnes per product, bag size, pallet or loose-loading arrangement and receiving equipment.
  • Transport: the Incoterms® rule and edition, named port or place, cargo handover point and freight scope.
  • Insurance: who arranges it, the cover offered and any additional protection requested.
  • Destination costs: identify which handling, clearance, duties, taxes and inland-delivery charges are included and which the buyer must arrange.
  • Timing and commercial basis: currency, validity, dispatch window and required receiving date. Keep dispatch and transit time separate.

Use the same list for both offers, and ask for any missing item to be stated before comparing the totals. For several products in one shipment, follow our mixed-container purchasing process and compare each product line as well as the complete loading plan.
